Mihnea Radu

Mihnea is a Managing Associate within Reff & Associates and serves clients in the Competition practice.

His main focus is competition law, where he has amassed extensive experience across various areas such as competition and antitrust, merger assistance, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and ongoing assistance.

Mihnea has a strong understanding of key economic sectors, such as regulated markets (electricity and gas), retail, industrial equipment and machinery, pharmaceuticals, forestry and finance services. He has been involved in numerous antitrust/unfair competition mandates, among others we mention: the implementation of complex vertical restrictions in multilateral contractual arrangements relating on-line platforms and a mandate related to the behaviors of electricity supply/distributors against their competitors. Additionally, Mihnea has defended our clients in a large number of investigations conducted by the Romanian Competition Council, covering a large spectrum of anticompetitive practices.

He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Bucharest and he has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2016.
