Mihnea Galgoțiu-Săraru

Mihnea is a Partner with Reff & Associates and Deloitte and heads our dispute resolution practice (covering civil, commercial and administrative disputes). Before joining Reff & Associates, Mihnea acted as Partner and co-head of a large litigation practice in another leading Romanian law firm.

During his more than 15 years of experience in business law, Mihnea acted as first chair for many market-leading clients and coordinated large teams in “bet-the-firm litigation” projects and high-profile cases regarding competition, energy, telecom, media, administrative, constitutional, real estate, construction, privatization, IP, employment or sport matters before both international arbitration panels and local courts or authorities.

He also managed virtually all types of debt recovery projects, from foreclosure to insolvency cases.

In addition to his expertise in national dispute resolution cases, Mihnea also has extensive experience in international arbitration proceedings, as well as in multi-jurisdictional litigation projects, including by acting as expert in international arbitration proceedings.

Mihnea also acts at regional and global level within the Deloitte Legal network: he is the head of the Central Europe Dispute Resolution group (that reunites the leaders of the Dispute Resolution practices within Deloitte Central Europe) and a member of the Global Steering Committee on Dispute Resolution within Deloitte Legal. In this role, Mihnea is involved in the transformation of the way in which legal services are provided to clients, especially in the current global context.
