The International Comparative Legal Guide to Securitisation

A practical cross-border insight into securitisation work

With the EU Commission expected to bring forward this fall a legislative proposal on ‘high-quality’ securitisation as part of the Capital Markets Union, and following the recommendations made by the Joint Committee of the three European Supervisory Authorities as well as the recent opinion of the European Banking Authority on “qualifying securitisation” along with the newly published revision of the Basel securitisation framework, there is no doubt that the interest in securitisation across the EU has been increasing.

As the topic becomes more and more important on the financial institutions and investors’ agenda, it is our pleasure to share with you our contribution to the 2015 edition of “The International Comparative Legal Guide to Securitisation. A practical cross-border insight into securitisation work”, published by the Global Legal Group. In addition to outlining key legal provisions applicable to securitisation in Romania, the guide provides broader information on receivables' transfers bringing you a comprehensive perspective that also includes information which is relevant in NPL and performing loan transfers.
